Other than the child there wasn’t one character that I could cheer for or support. The depressing, miserable characters were entirely unlikable. The lighting reminded me of the movie Seven without the edge of your seat adrenaline. A few movies/series lately might be inspiring/interesting for the actor to play but not for an audience member to watch. :(

I’m late to the party but I’m enjoying this series. Jason Isaacs is a fabulous actor. Good story lines. Sad to see it end after a shorter run.

When a series has me looking up opioid deaths by province ( Canada), I’d say that’s a good thing. Given it’s on Netflix maybe it could dissuade misuse. I hope what was presented about the FDA was exaggerated. I do worry that pharma can put profit over conscience. From an entertainment perspective I’d say it’s a docu drama.

I enjoyed it. Interesting family dynamic. I think it was a pretty realistic portrayal of a couple who are settled and grounded in their relationship.

Saw this in the theatre when it came out and standing in the lobby afterward waiting for my mum I couldn’t stop crying. Not many movies have had that effect, if any. Mustered up the courage to watch it again this many years later and I think it’s a brilliant reflection of men and women. Families. Love. Heartbreak. Healing. Forgiving. Excellent movie.

Rewatching. It’s perfect. Hats off to a brilliant writer and ensemble cast. Wow.

I don’t have adequate words to explain how this series touched my heart. While I’m heartbroken it’s over, we knew it had to end. I first watched because I like detective stories, however more than that it was the relationships, the dialogue, the essence of the characters that had me enthralled. Bravo to the entire cast and crew on a job well done.

A little too dark and depressing every single episode. The only lightness is within Prison which is the rub. The sister Amantha reminds me of someone kicking a hornets nest- repeatedly. She’s quite annoying. Thankfully the seasons are short, just not short enough.

This is my adult version of the wizard of oz! I’ve watched this movie so many times, it always delivers. The visuals are absolutely beautiful and stirring. I don’t know anything about filmmaking but Baz has something magical that creates these wonderful moments that leap off the screen. Bravo!
