Mark MacGuigan

A series of action flick cliches and historical inaccuracies held together by good pacing and a good (perhaps very good, hard to tell with this kind of movie) young cast. Altogether a good sci-fi action thriller with an interesting, if flawed, cultural twist. I wasn't expecting much from a tired genre at the end of a mediocre series, and was pleasantly surprised. It ain't a masterpiece, but it's good entertainment.
