What can I say about the dirty, I was there when that album was released, Hell I probably stood in line, a Short line, no pun intended that's for sure, there should have been hundreds I digress. It was a game changer.
I will say, I believe a lot of us were actually talking about the fact that DRI was already a crossover band one of the only ones just a handful of bands would fit in that basket and DRI would be at the top, in my opinion. That's why I have their tattoo on my arm. A very undeserved non recognition I don't know if I said that right but they deserved to be noticed a lot more by a lot of people. It's easier now to like music from different genres. Back then it was taboo. Anyone my age would confirm that. For god sakes in my circle you couldn't listen to Poison whether it was good or not. And it was not.
