I feel like most people are spam hating this movie only because they’re annoyed that Disney is once again milking a once beloved franchise. But in this case, for Lightyear, I went to see it because I love Pixar (not Disney). The movie is not incredible, but definitely does a great job presenting itself towards its intended audience of pre-teens. It’s a really cute movie that does stand by itself as a movie I could have seen myself watching and loving as a young kid. As an adult, I am annoyed at some of the plot holes in the movie, but the movie was not made for adults, and people are having a difficult time understanding that. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, give it a watch; it’s not terrible.

Beautiful storytelling for a game I don’t even like. The mix of 2D and 3D animation gives me a feeling that I rarely experience. This art should be the next step in mature western animation, and I’m happy that the average person is starting to see what good animation can do and not just have to watch 50 family guy art rip-offs. I want more people to know about this show and I have been recommending it to everyone I meet
