Can anyone tell me how Murtagh dies. Jamie with Ian finds Murtagh in a stable where he is working years after Culloden. In a previous book Murtagh dies in Jamie’s arms after being shot during a rebellion in which he is the leader. Then in Go Tell the Bees I Have Gone Janet tells Jamie that he told her Murtagh was killed at Culloden. He told her this when he was sick with a fever and in and out of consciousness. As much as I love the series and I have read the books more than 3 times I can’t get past Murtagh and his 2 deaths. Please which one is it?
