Despite the fine cast, this movie took itself too seriously. The high critical acclaim this is receiving can only be explained with a “the emperor’s new clothes” type of mass hysteria. “If you don’t like this movie, you just didn’t get it.” There isn’t much to get and even less to miss. Save your money and watch 2 hours of a guy walking and sometimes riding, very slowly while not doing anything interesting....like character development.
