It Ends With Us was an awesome movie. I had no idea what to expect, but I never expected to go through a series of emotions - I cried, I laughed, I smiled, and I cried some more; I felt joy, love, hurt, sadness, pain, wonder, hope, support, encouragement, strength, and affirmation. The acting was top tier and the story line hit close to home and spoke to so many parts of me. I don't want to go to much into the movie, but the part where Lily and her best friend was talking - the best friend said, "As a sister, I hope you can forgive him, but as your best friend, I will not talk to you ever again If you take him back" . . . Talk about taking a stand for what is right and acknowledging unhealthy/dangerous behavior regardless of who implemented such behavior. All in all, I walked out of the theater with greater awareness and the courage to stand when breaking generational cycles. Amazing movie - 12 out of 10 all day!!!
