Very, very disappointed after waiting so excitedly for years. We adore the first movie, have watched it countless times so we have been eagerly awaiting the second Avatar. Our entire family of 5 left the theater incredibly disappointed. It felt more like a Marvel film instead of avatar. Rehashed the same good vs. evil matchup from the first, absolutely rushed through explaining all that had happened between #1 & 2 and just fell flat. #2 did not have the same magic and heart as the first movie, it was just stressful. Would not recommend. 2 stars for the gorgeous cgi and scenery.

Truly loved this show. Jean Smart has always been a phenomenal actress and she plays this role with a perfect balance of heart & badass b!tch. Love seeing a show with an “older” star that is shown in a strong and positive light. I really hope there are more seasons to come.
