Finally a sequel to a movie from the 90s that breaks away from the trend of the plot only being carried by nostalgia bait, what nostalgia is there is nicely tucked in where it's not meant to be a slap in the face, but a peck on the cheek. The movie has a great plot that can be viewed through the lens of a light hearted action movie or a great dive into dealing with trauma, all depends on how you want to watch the movie. The movie is very successful at setting up characters and their backstory without creating dead space in an otherwise fast paced movie. All in all the movie was a great watch and I plan to see it again before it exits the theater.

Xbox one X. I had no expectations going into this, I mostly play RPGs, I only purchased after nagging by my nephew who wanted to play it. Gave it a shot and man is it good, graphics are beyond exceptional, physics are on point, and the vehicles behave like they are real vehicles. So far I'm at around 20 hours and have only had one minor glitch, so I'm confident the game functions well. The game progresses well with new vehicle and upgrades at a very steady pace, with a massive selection to ensure you have the right fit for any mission. As for the negatives: I've seen alot of people complaining about clunky driving controls and I can absolutely understand where they are coming from, driving takes getting used to because wheels don't automatically return to straight, but they don't in real life either. Sometimes it feels like a chore to complete objectives, but the game doesn't hand hold and say you need certain amounts of power, so alot of those more difficult missions are likely me using the wrong tool for the job. Garage system can be frustrating having to cross the entire map to return and add a new upgrade but it's obvious that was a design decision, so I won't knock it too hard. My only real complaint is the effect upgrades have on a vehicle could be better stated, but going out and finding out is kind of a fun little test to optimize your vehicle. I heavily suggest this game.
