I never thought we would get a great Imtiaz Ali film again. His interpretation of Chamkila's character is very well done and really stays with you long after the film ends. Props to both Imtiaz and his brother for the smart narrative structure as well. Very well done, tense and engaging.

wow, 2 hours of my life, I wish I could get back. Protagonist is dull and passive. There is not a single character that really wants anything in this film, everyone is just rolling through life and honestly that's not very engaging to watch.

Truly an extraordinary film. Bloody rottentomatoes is criminally low for such a great film. Great craft, emotions, performances, pacing, CGI, central story, plot. Everything was perfect about this film. Definitely one of the best films I've ever seen.
