The movie, about the aftermath of a rape in the town of Ebbing, is a moving tale on grief, anger, forgiveness and redemption. Choosing not to dwelve too much on any of the above emotions, it moves with a brisk pace, giving its stellar cast ( two of whom have won Oscars for this movie) opportunities to shine. It is rare to come across movies that allow the viewer to laugh and shed a tear in equal parts over the silliness that is the human mind. This is one such movie. Apart from Rockwell, McDormand and Harrellson, there are some great acts including Peter Dinkalge. This movie is probably the best that I saw last year. It's a shame it had to run in against the "Shape of Water" at the awards.
