Thought about 2 stars, but couldn’t bring myself to go there, trying my best save you the torture. This is as bad as they get guys, like just one HUGE dump of predictable schlock. Avoid at all costs. Seriously, even Dog Man is like way the heck better.

Absolutely astonishing BEAUTIFUL film about the power of love, loss and the spirit-world. The mindless trailers that were all slasher films that preceded the film made it seem even more otherworldly, transcendent, creative, eery, supernatural, sensitive, surreal, unexpectedly deep and moving. Simply put, by far the best film depicting the afterlife and all its mystery and fascination and its sadness in its separated state. Masterstroke film by Soderbergh, and its lower numbers in reviews is just creepy and super-revealing of how empty headed most folks are nowadays, really crazy.

First half hour is good. Crowe is good. Besides that there is close to 90 minutes of pretty boring conversation. In an ACTION flick?!? Trust me——move on.

Thanks to liberal film critics like John Anderson of The Wall Street Journal I decided NOT to see it. He drew some really warped and weird line from Trump to Hitler and it made me spit up in my mouth a little, just ruined it for me. Why do nerds have to make everything political these days?!? Sounded like a great film but people are so messed up in the head they gotta ruin things for others.

yawn. Rome in all its spendour, decadence and bloody conquest. a cast of THOUSANDS. I literally thought they had colorized a movie I saw when I was 8 or 9. Sorry Mr Scott, but a film about joker comic book villain combined with a warped musical has had you drawn and quartered with creativity, shocking originality and just plain unexpected genius acting.

How do YOU spell dog?!? Woof. One of the worst movies ever! Just blab, blab and more “meaningful” painfully long speeches about, who cares… avoid like the plague!

good for…12-17 yr old teenagers? that’s about it, regretfully

WAY over the heads of most folks, hence the low ratings. Unique, creative blend, variation on a musical. Joaquim nailed it, as usual. Lady Gaga almost steals the movie though. The soundtrack is classic songs and whoever selected them to fit the storyline is crazy good at it. However, these songs have complex clever lyrics which most young people haven’t the patience or simple lyrical discernment to even start to understand the scope and subtleties of this level of artistic cinema.

Absurd that I had a private screening of this strikingly thought-provoking creative film. Folks who panned it, saying it was a mess?!? perhaps were lobotomy patients. It’s a simple as it gets “greed is bad” “kindness is good” story set in modern day Rome. Driver nailed it to the wall. Shia was hilarious. Everybody else did great. It’s WAY better than the 95% of the other schlock that’s crossed the big screen for the past decade, that’s for damn sure.
