If you're a fan of the series, this prequel didn't disappoint. If you casually or never watched the series, it's probably just an "okay" mobster movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Rise of Skywalker, even the campy and corny stuff. The film was a wonderful tribute to the original trilogy (New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi). Perhaps I feel this way because I saw the original trilogy in the theaters when I was a kid. Watching this film transported me back to my childhood taking me on a familiar wild ride in a galaxy far, far away.
