The main reason why almost everyone loves the movie Forrest Gump is because of the simplicity of the character. This movie bonds us with him because of his silly,friendly,loving and autistic character.Tom hanks proves us his versatility by going into a very unique mixture of characters like Forrest Gump, Paul Edgecomb , Carl Hanratty and Viktor Navorski Eg: Pewdiepie is the most loved youtuber even though he doesn't have the best content. This is because of the bond he created with the audience. Even though the movie is loved by a lot of people it does have some flaws .The scene where forrest outruns a truck is totally impractical. .Comedy is too subtle and dry at most of the parts .Tom Hanks did an overall good job but there was always room for improvement as he could have made his emotions a bit more expressive. . Some scenes like the part where Bubba died deserved a little more emotion. . In some scenes he becomes mature whereas in some he becomes totally retarded or autistic. My Overall Rating on This Film is : 3.5
