An If Only (2004 dir. Gil Junger) rip off. The plot is unoriginal, and the execution is merely passable. The only redeemable features are Marian and Dingdong's acting and the perfectly suited Ben & Ben songs.

Love the movie. It's a major throwback. This is officially Disney's letting kids be kids era. I'm so happy to have a movie show a seemingly fleeting yet pivotal moment of my life as a teen. How going through these changes affected my relationships with myself, my mother, and my friends. Must watch!
