I am watching one episode for the first time and I think it is way into the series. I am fine with her being a girl and wanting to change. What I am not OK with is her Mother, who is the boss in the family, treating a child like an adult. Talking to her about dating? Yes it is good to be able to talk about dating with your mother but the episode I am watching show Jazz, who is still in HS, upset that the girl she is interested in has been in soooo many relationships. Geez, HS? It is fine to be in NO relationships. And yes, she is binge eating from stress and needs to pause on things until her mental health gets better. She needs maturity. They treat her like an adult, let her make adult decision but yet you can tell she is immature and needs to be a child. Too many parents in general let CHILDREN make decisions. What I cooked for dinner is what it is! Eat or not. That is my example of what I mean.
