A stark reflection of our own image. We can find ourselves among any character in the show. But every one is also a piece of Bojack. His toxicity is distilled from each of every person's influence. From the assistant to the closest friend, they all toxify him, one way or another. Everyone wants a piece of him, and when it turns sour, they blamed him and it furthered his downfall. The only way to cure a toxic person is to dilute him with care and love. But even to the end of the show, he still had to help himself, because no one could. They were afraid they would be toxified again if they were any close to him anymore.
