It's Mormon propaganda. It has a great topic, the succession crisis. If they would have portrayed Brigham as a human, the good and the bad, the unflinching truth it would have been good. But it's a fairytale, depicting Brigham as this godlike person. Most the movie deals with Joseph Smith and maybe 20 minutes of the succession problem. A complete work of fiction. No mention of the 33 plural wives of JS. No mention of it all being behind the Emma's back and her opposition to Brigham being the next "prophet". Save your time and watch something real.
