So far this is a great series. I think a lot of the negative reviews are because they are trying to compare the show to the Last Dance (probably because they are similar concepts), but the stories are very different in terms of the way they are told. Winning Time focuses a lot on character development and relationships of those in the Lakers organization at that time. If you come in with a fresh open mind, this show is very enjoyable. Great acting by well established actors as well as newer faces and plenty of background story to get you engaged in the series. Excited to keep watching and see what else the series has in store.
