the ending was predictable but brought about in a creative way. the only fault i found was, how the hell could brad pitt observe the virally infected skipping the terminally ill and old people amidst all the pandemonium.

i don't understand why the film is rated so poorly on rotten tomatoes. There was a genuine effort by the film makers, and the acting was actually very good, real-life. the story and the visuals are very good. the scares are really very scary. not for the faint hearted; perhaps it was too scary for the film critics.
