I give 9/10 for visual effects but 5/10 for the story. The idea is to sacrifice half populations for saving the earth is doubtful. The story line was very ambiguous in details. There were lots gaps between scenes to connect. I guess it is because the limitation of length to force the editing cuts. Hopefully, we see a director cut edition later. The nationalism is there for sure but not that obvious which is an improvement from other blockbusters they've made before. However, none of these defects brought down the entertaining experience. Overall, a quite enjoyable movie. I've noticed the CGI of the transportation truck and fighters' uniforms are magnificent. I like the scene of female fighter in the uniform, she looked very cool. The truck looks even better than the mining truck I've seen in Avatar. They looked more physically real. My score meant to be 7/10. An additional point for the crew who have done fantastic works under very harsh conditions by lack of pay and funding. They only spent 50m USD to make this movie, unbelievable. Well done. So my score is 8/10. Definitely worth to watch.
