It is rare that I find an album where I don’t skip at least one track. This album kept me wanting more and is one that I can’t wait to listen to again and again at full length. The music and production pulls the listener into the past with layers of soul samples, live instrumentation, and vocals while Black Thought spits original rhymes with depth in his typical no nonsense, no gimmicks fashion.
