So, I think my biggest complaint about this series is that they had commentary from Hollywood elite like Aaron Sorkin, Margaret Cho, Michael Douglas, Bruce/Kaitlyn Jenner, Martha Stewart, Meryl Streep, Sheryl Crow, etc. WTH do ANY of these people have to do with US History? I don't want to hear from Michael Douglas about the Revolutionary War, Civil War or ANY war for that matter. Yes, Sheryl Crow, what the US did to the American Indians was horrible, but we don't need you to tell us that. Please stop glorifying celebrities. Most of them have, at best, a high school education. They had no credible insight to add outside of their personal opinions, which shows just how highly they think of themselves. Stick to interviewing history scholars. At least they know what the heck they're talking about and lend some credibility to the series. Also....as I watch this we're now into the 80's and I see it just skipped the Korean War? I know some vets from that conflict that might take issue with that.
One thing that I find was done well was the narration by Liev Schreiber. Fine voiceover work.
