For years we only watched “Good Morning America” to start our day. But, we had to stop when the cast began interacting in what felt like a cocktail party atmosphere, with the cast talking over one another, lauding one another, and joking about nonsense. To our great joy, we discovered “CBS This Morning” and it became our program of choice, because of the mature and respectful atmosphere the cast brought, every morning.
Since that switch over, a decade ago, we have been avid viewers of “CBS This Morning” and have enjoyed the cast and the thoughtful way in which they brought us national and world events.
However, while we look forward to the intelligent conversations, Vlad’s “What to Watch” and the “Talk of the Table” segments, they are becoming overshadowed by the same “how great thou art” nonsense, EVERY MORNING!
I also support the comment made about Gayle King’s, “yes, he is” comment every morning before the “Eye Opener”. Why?
Yes, we need a little lightheartedness these days. In my opinion, if Gayle, Tony, Nate, Vlad and Michelle were to watch a few days of programming, they’d understand where my comments are coming from.
Please, consider my comments and don’t drive us away, as ABC did years ago.
With only the best of intentions meant,
