Ghastly show, a very poor imitation of MAFSUK or Love Island. Contrived and denegrating, I loathed it and resent paying the BBC licence fee to watch such crass television trash. Davina has gone down in my estimation too, in my opinion, she is scraping the barrel.

Having read Delia Owens wonderfully captivating book, I was deeply disappointed in the movie. I felt Daisy Edgar-Jones was miscast as the girl Kya, and nowhere near 'wild' enough. Her relationship with Tate was too clean, and unfolded more like a romantic chick flick than the intense, growing emotions the two of them had for each other in the book, there was no chemistry between the actors. The relationship Kya has with Chase was also cleaned up for the movie, in the book he was a vile man, right from the outset yet the film made me almost sorry for him. What has made me really cross though, is the most significant part of the entire book, the part where we find out what happened and whether or not Daisy's character is a murderess, is left out of the film altogether! Incredible! I feel cheated and I can only recommend you read the book, which is like reading a beautiful, wild piece of prose and completely unputdownable.

An absolutely awful film, I could only tolerate it for 20 minutes. The cinematography is so dark, the pace so slow, the script is non-descript - it's depressing to watch, give it a miss.

Series 5 is excellent, it is exactly like watching a documentary or reality series. The script and cast are superb. 20 out of 10!

I had no idea what this film was going to be about but it quickly becomes evident that following a freak and prolonged, violent storm which floods much of the UK, society begins to break down and those who can escape, do so to higher ground. Jodie Comer's character flees with her partner and their baby but when they have no more food, the partner insists the mother and child take refuge in a people's shelter and the trio become separated. So it's a film about survival and I think, a comment on global warming, war and famine. I found it too lengthy and endlessly bleak so there is no let up from how awful the situation is for everyone. It is not an uplifting film at all. I also wondered how she kept her baby so clean with no nappies and how come some people had cars with petrol? It's a mystery! When she arrives at the island commune I wondered where all the food came from. I found the ending predictable and highly unlikely however, the filming of a flooded London was very good and must have cost a fortune. All in all I did not enjoy this film. Sorry Jodie.

I think the dialogue is littered with so many expletives, it quickly became tedious. The production is quite sumptuous, but did not detract from the appalling inaccuracy of this complete fantasy. I kept expecting King James to come out on set with a banjo saying, 'John sent me', aka Billy Connolly. Julianne Moor wastes her talent in her hideous role as George's mother. Best actress in my opinion and unsurprisngly, Nicola Walker as the beautifully ascerbic Lady Hamilton. All in all, it's a thumbs down and don't bother, from me.

I thought this was a great film! Funny, full of pathos, very engaging characters, I loved it.

Don't listen to the critics, it's a brilliant film and Kristen Stewart is fantastic as Diana. I could easily watch it again

A horrible film which can't decide whether to be empathetic to families dealing with dementia, or just a horror movie. It's a very disturbing film and I wish I hadn't watched it. Some of the scenes were grotesque. I have to watch something nice now, to take my mind off it!
