I remember as a child reading the original Buccaneers series. The Silver Ship was a gripping book for me, and it immersed me into the world of fantasy. It was around this time that I developed a keen sense for imagination and creation. I read the entire series, and I know I recall feeling gutted that the story eventually came to an end. I wish I had my own copies of the series, so that I could share the Buccaneers stories with my little nephew. He would love them.
