1/11/23 I want to thank you for bringing to light the problems we Chronic Pain Patients have to deal with due to Staff biases and Algorithms in regards to Patients who are on Opioid Therapy for severely painful illnesses and injuries. Just because we are on Opioid Therapy does not mean when we go to the hospital we are "Drug Seeking." Because of our uniquely complex medical conditions it's not always understood by some health care providers that we could actually be having a health crisis because of their personal preconceived notions due to the current Illicit Fentanyl Poisoning that is happening in the United States. Because of these preconceived notions, Many Health Care Professionals abuse us, ignore us or make fun of us on Social Media and cause us Medical Trauma and PTSD. Some of us refuse to go to the ER and many have died because of that choice. Thank you so much for a accurate portrayal of what we deal with.
