Loved this movie. It was quirky, and imaginative, full of fantasy and magic to let your imagination really go wild. Loved the music, new and old, which was very comforting and nostalgic. It reminded me of Classics such as Annie and Oliver Twist, as well as the original Charlie and the Chocolate factory, and the newer Jonny Depp version. The actor definitely felt like a younger version of Willy Wonker, and at times sounded like each of them. Incredible performance. I really loved the Ommpa Loompa, and that story line. Overall it was like a classic fairy tale with all the elements. Good vs evil, rich vs poor, rags to riches, dreams do come true etc. Loved the line..." it was never about the Chocolate, but about those you share it with" . Absolutely fabulous. Going to see it again as there was so much to take in.
