I’m giving it three stars because I didn’t like the screenwriting, but the movie itself did manage to move me to tears, so it was somewhat good. But it wasn’t excellent like some reviews make it out to be. I think most of the lauding has to do with the message the movie has, and that’s alright. It is important to know, and I’ve educated myself on the topic a bit more, for I never knew that FMG is that common in Somalia or what they do it for.
