Please do not buy this game. It only encourages more releases of unfinished and uncreative games. There is absolutely no reason for this game to be released in the state that it is in. If you look at the worlds most profitable video game franchises, Pokémon is at the top of every list by a long shot. Second place isn’t even close. To release a game riddled with graphics glitches, poor gameplay, and lackluster game design is beyond disappointing. I’ve seen a lot of people push the blame off to the switch’s capabilities, but there have been so many great games to come out at launch for the switch. Just look at Odyssey and BoTW. Two incredible games with stylized graphics that run smoothly (for the most part). I’ve been a Pokémon fan since I was a toddler and I really like the concept that the Pokémon team is trying to go with. An open world game is what we’ve always dreamed of. But when you release what feels like a prototype as a main series game, it’s truly disheartening as a fan. Please take your time in releasing these and just get it right. I don’t care about all of the subjective creative stuff cause that’s what I look forward to as a fan. I just want a game I can play without being completely taken out of it by my Pokémon glitching through the floor in the middle of a battle.
