The show has numerous excellent attributes. Great educational and mind opening information! Fact hunting and the disruption of so called established “facts” is always healthy. Bring new ideas and information into the public’s view only helps us attempt to understand the history of our world better. Vikings in America! Yes! Chinese and Japanese traders in the Americas? Wouldn’t that be wonderful? Please prove! Templar’s in America!? Wonderful! I’ve often wondered why anyone would think that Europeans were the first people to find the America? To think that no one was out trying to find food/riches/land and weren’t sailing the Atlantic and/or the Pacific Oceans and didn’t run into the enormous land mass that was just sitting there? Seems a bit foolish. It would seem obvious that at least a few adventurous sorts, lost souls, or crazies would have run up upon such an enormous coastline. Doesn’t it make more sense that people were here more often? Why there isn’t more material proof? Maybe we just haven’t looked in the right places yet? Please, keep unearthing America! However, Sir Conan Doyle was not Jack the Ripper. Research done within the last 3 years has showed that an American was “proven” through matching schedule of travel, skills, training, association as well as handwriting samples/prose to be the Ripper? Sorry, this is one I just don’t believe no matter what you might have as “proof”.
