I find myself in a different type of situation with this show. On the one hand, it's really far from the way I imagined it to be(as a halo fan), on the other, it's not bad at all, it's actually very interesting to watch. Here are the key points(spoiler free). - the CGI is awesome! Really high quality. - I'm personally not a fan of 2 of the actors in the show, there's really no reason behind it so I guess disregard this. - The covenant are depicted in the exact way I imagined them to be, the crew behind the show did a phenomenal job of portraying the strength of the covenant. - It's a non Canon show, which on one hand gives the developers freedom to pursue whatever storyline they wish, but on the other gives them the freedom to move further away from the core of what halo is. - Jen Taylor! If you know you know. I give it 4 stars, because it's a very good show, the vast is very talented, and it was entertaining. However, the 1 star I took away is because the show does a bit of a lackluster job of tending to long time halo fans. Either way, if you're thinking about giving it a watch, definitely do!
