Why rewrite a best selling novel? I’ve watched many adaptations of this book and this is my least favorite. The sets & costumes are gorgeous and most of the casting is great; however, Amy is just wrong. The biggest problem is Gerwig’s attempt to create scenes that never happened & to change the scope & sequence of a well-written story. Greta, go write your own novel & leave the works of your betters alone.
