(SPOILER FREE)I wish someone would’ve told me to adjust my expectations before watching this film. This film is unlike any other Marvel film to date and while that is it’s strength it’s also it’s flaw. They advertised this as a typical marvel movie when instead it was of an insightful and emotional design. I mistakenly spent so much time comparing it to other movies trying to make it fit it hurt my experience. However, the film’s true biggest weakness was it’s pacing. I found myself in a daze of the more intriguing scenes slipping by too fast and wondering if the movie would ever reach its climax. I love the characters but it NEEDED a better pace for the younger audience to take a strong interest in it. I’m hopeful for the sequel!
