Binuk “reBinuk” Perera

this is really a unique kdrama, besides the fact that the extremely- common love-triangle scenario and rich boy-poor girl story is repeated, the inspiration from the webtoon that the tv series extracts makes it stand out from other kdramas, in my opinion. Everything, from the soundtracks, to the shooting locations, to the actors' performances were top-tier, i have to especially commend Hwang In-Youp, as his performance really moved me, even more than the webtoon character. Sure, there are some dark parts of the webtoon that weren't shown on the kdrama, like the dark side to the kpop industry and fame in south korea, which i think isnt faked, cos the suthor herself has had experience in the industry. but i understand, an adapted piece of work is considered successful only if it stands alone from its source material, and in my opinion, this kdrama did!!!
