Casting made a mistake with Charlie. He's not convincing. He looks and acts too crude so it's hard for me to believe he would be accepted to a prestigious Boston law school. Charlie's love interest is uninteresting with adolescent lines making the dialogue with Charlie hard to watch. I decided to watch the movie because Tommy Lee Jones and gave up because his role was limited for the poorly paced first half of the movie. Maybe I'll finish it, but the fast forward button will get a workout.
