Ritesh Batra takes realistic characters and puts them in an unrealistic situation. But it seems to work beautifully in his favour. One of the film's strengths lies in its cinematography; the characters emote smoothly and effectively, sometimes without saying a word or showing their face on the camera. Dessert after the flavourful meal: the final scene before the credits start rolling. Its a peek into the life of a few strangers whose days intertwine in ways one wouldn't foresee. Its a slow sunset. If you do not like stories that unfold slowly, then this isn't for you.
