I’m ashamed of myself for not knowing who Zhou Xun was until Ruyi Love in the Palace. I almost skipped this movie but glad I watched it. I’m so used to watching beautiful Hong Kong and China actresses almost all my life. Until today, I misjudged by the simple appearance and almost missed out an inner beauty of an talented actress, Zhou Xun. The true saying is never judge a book by its cover. I fell in love with Zhou Xun. I understand why she got her title as the Fadan. I can’t stop watching her act now. She took my heart and and made me shed my tears late at night. The storyline is well written, wonderful Actors and Actresses. Most beautiful props, lavish costumes and hair pieces,especially for Ruyi, I have ever seen! I love Janine Chang and Zhou Xun sister relationship. How the protect each other. Some may not like the ending but I personally think it’s perfect! Can’t stop watching Ruyi!!
