Familiar character s help with the nostalgia alongside the great knew ones for action and charm . Another great villian ,as Mads Mikkelsen aways delivers . Humour is again available alongside a awe inspiring storyline and being a romantic , I loved it presence as well .

I thought this was one of the greatest books I ve ever read. The story captured my mind and my heart. I couldn t put it down , wanting to know how it would end. I highly recommend it. Erich Jelesits

Even though it was long , it was worth getting into this gritty streetlevel version of the Bat. It relies more on the character portral then folklore or mysticism. The fighting is raw and believable capturing Gotham with a visual dark beauty but showing its shattered state of crime and corruption. A great cast delivers a truly honest take on Batman s beginnings of taking on a suffering city and wanting to make a difference. E
