Mary Smedley

I’ve read the Joe Pickett books several times and loved them. I was excited about the tv series but found it disappointing. Casting for Pickett and his family is good but other characters are a complete disappointment. Nate is such a key character in many of the novels with his striking eyes and physical stature that is lost entirely in the show. The characters we come to know in the books are super important and should be cast to fit our expectations.
