Beast isn't Nelson's best. I think he could have done better if he had more time to work on the screenplay and script. From his past movies I can tell he spends a lot of time crafting each character in his movies, but I couldn't see that in this movie. Either way, there were some entertaining bits in the movie that's much appreciated. But overall a let down.
