I love DQ but this movie is just cliched with over the top emotions and messy plot line. 'Rules for thee but not for me.' It's ok if a middle class man commits crimes out of necessity but not when rich bankers/traders do it. And how easy it is for a bank employee to commit fraud and end up a rich businessman in the US!

The strength of this movie is the story telling and performance of the lead actors. Very well written, slow burn tale.

Started off quite intriguing but soon got too convoluted and predictable. Lazy writing in many places only to keep the story moving forward. It is difficult to believe that a lone female S.I. has the courage, grit and brains to solve the entire case while others just watch like incompetent idiots. Ironic that Brinda is so smart to crack all clues in the case but it doesn't occur to her to have the number she finds on Thakur's phone tracked by Cyber unit to identify past tower locations. She could have identified who the accomplice was much sooner because Anand answered Thakur's calls when he was at the NGO. Duh!! He story pacing is poor too. It's never properly explained how Satya became Anand and set up such a huge NGO or why he had his 'father' killed. Disappointed!

I finally got around to watching this movie and was completely confused as to why it was such a major success. The protagonist is a hapless romantic who obsesses over random women he meets on streets and in temples because they remind him of his mother (oedipus complex much?). He longs for an understanding and amicable wife, but ironically falls for a woman who constantly misunderstands and misjudges him. The leading lady relentlessly bullies and abuses the hero, but ultimately falls for him because he tolerates all the abuse like 'bhoodevi'. What is the director trying to teach the youth? That men should stalk women and exploit them in vulnerable situations? And women should abuse the men who show affection towards them? Such a toxic mess!!

This is not a typical whodunit but a poignant tale of a man whom fate has dealt a terrible hand. It's a beautifully made, well cast and well executed movie. DQ is his brilliant self. Sunny Deol delivers a nuanced and subtle performance which was surprising. The movie does has unintentionally comic moments, like when the characters state the obvious for the benefit of the audience or when Sunny Deol jumps from the 3rd floor during the climax to try to reach the potential victim only to reach there at the same time as his colleagues. These scenes distract the viewer from an otherwise brilliant movie.

Sequels usually flop because they fail to capture the magic of the original. However, the brilliant Siddhu Jonnalagadda and team have successfully managed to recreate the soul of the original in this sequel. Siddhu charms as the smart mouthed, yet guileless Tillu who once again falls for the wrong girl and finds himself in trouble. The movie is light hearted and a laughter riot. Its strength is the dialogue and the Siddhu's timing. This is a great watch for those looking for a reprieve from the big budgeted soulless projects masquerading as cinema.

I don't understand the hype around this movie. The rescue part towards the end was great. As was the cinematography. But a sliver of a storyline is stretched into a 2 hour saga. I find it difficult to sympathise with a bunch of grown men doing irresponsible things in drunken stupor and then going around begging for help when things go south. I also didn't like how the authorities - police, fire and forest personnel, were portrayed as inept and uncaring. You cannot blame others for your mistakes, especially when your callousness leads to endangerment of lives.

Disjointed story telling. Plenty of characters who are not brought together by proper storyline. Lot of ridiculous plot lines, inconsistencies and loose ends. The casting wasn't great except Siddique, especially the actress who played ACP Gracy. She is pure cringe! And of course, the title bears no relation to the plot. I was surprised to see during the end credits that this movie was directed by Priyadarshan. Oh, how the mighty have fallen!

This is a story about stupid people making stupid decisions and ruining their lives. There is Gautam who runs into his ex during a work trip and decides to pursue her despite being married, and doesn't have the sense to openly communicate with either woman to sort out any issues. There is Aaranya who doesn't think of ending an abusive marriage till she meets her ex and suddenly she decides to stalk him and force herself on him despite his intentions of staying with his wife. How does she manage to find a flat exactly opposite to Gautam's so conveniently? And there's Vandana who decides to end everything at the first sign of trouble in her marriage. Arun in the only sensible voice here and of course he is completely ignored. What kind of message was the director trying to convey here? Play stupid games and win stupid prizes?
