The show never ceases to amaze me, but Season 6, Episode 5, had me so close to tears all the way thru. I am amazed at the realness of the characters played is a breath of fresh air. Bringing real medical and personal views to me weekly is inspiring. I have learned how to be more compassionate and how medical personnel can be more humane. Thanks for the deep understanding you bring in your writing.

A feel-good movie that helped a “hearing” individual better understand “non-hearing” individuals better. I actually took the CODA tag as the one I learned in high school music meaning “a passage that bring a piece to an end” which I thought would pertain to this story. When actually finding CODA means “child of deaf adult” I understood the movie better. But I now feel both definitions played together. Loved the acting and did feel emotions of frustration, sympathy, love, and elation that Ruby must have felt. In writing I hope I have not insulted a deaf person in anyway. I am a novice regarding the deaf community and apologize in advance for any insult which I did not intend. Bravo CODA!
