I'm glad it was only 90 minutes. *** SPOILERS AHEAD *** The heartstrings are pulled with the Hallmark beginning but quickly we deduct that this poor kid has no social life outside of his helicopter parents. Things suddenly move at lightspeed when he immediately hits puberty (?) ... and I might be nice here in interpreting that the writers actually put this together because our evil SuperKid simply switches into horror character mode so fast it will nearly throw you out of the story. Our SuperKid, now evil, goes after people he loves and that love him with few real motives. Killing scenes (or near death events) are loaded with gore - which will likely cause you to go ahead and vomit since this dark film has already made you sick with it's claustrophobic farmville setting. I hung in there but happy to check out. Please ... no Brightburn 2 for me.
