Cyndi Wyrick-Glass

So I REALLY wanted to like his show. Being that I grew up in Chicago and have worked in many small family-owned business restaurants, pizza places and and am loyal to the best of the best when it comes to Chicago food, I tried really hard to wait out the first season to see if it got better. They made the mistake originally with the acting. Characters are whiny and over dramatic. The cheesy drama is a little bit much for me. If you know your original and best food and restaurants then you know that they are not striving to be high-end, five-star restaurants but if their food is good, they will have loyal customers the business that they need. The original Mr Beef (like many original food joints) was not updated, dirty and employed many different types of people. They would do a lot better if they kept their characters gritty and realistic.
