This is my favourite film of all time. A classic in every sense of the word. Simply the best. :)

I grew up watching Lucy & Ricky & loved them. I was so looking forward to this film. I can't begin to say how disappointed I was. This film was dark & depressing. For a woman who made millions laugh, she was portrayed as a horrible b_ _ _ _. So disrespectful to her memory...and what they did to Ricky wasn't much better. Add in a mean Fred & nasty Ethel & the quartet is complete. 4 totally unlikable characters. I don't blame the leads. What can you do with an awful script? I was surprised that their daughter was actually a producer on the movie. I think she has some serious mommy issues to portray her mother as the harridan that they did. Also, way too much swearing for that era & the term "gaslighting" wasn't even used then. All in all a total waste of time. Stay home & save your money. :(

Awful dreary movie! My husband & I forced ourselves to watch til the depressing end. Didn't like any of the characters, plot was dull & tedious. Who wants to see bullies triumph back in the day? We see enough of that now without choosing to watch it in a boring movie. The ending.... I have no words. :( The only good thing is we checked it out for free from the library & didn't waste good money on it.

Poor script, boring & very unlikable characters.

I expected so much from a great cast, sadly I was let down badly. Aside from the music & beautiful scenery, this movie was awful. It was boring & full of outdated cliches. The characters were people you'd never want to know. They were tedious & self indulgent. In the end it was embarassing to watch. The only good thing was we didn't pay to see it at the cinemas.

This is a fantastic film, especially if you are a Miss Fisher fan. But, even if you're not, it is exciting & entertaining. The mystery is interesting, there's lots of action & romance too. The cinematography is wonderful especially in the vastness of the Moroccan Desert. Do yourself a favor & go see this impressive, feel good movie.
