oming into this show, I was impressed by the opening theme, the music and art style, as well as the clean, fresh outfit looks for the characters. I liked how they delved into the characters in the first episodes and explored their back stories, Martin Short's performance, in particular, was quite entertaining, his character Oliver is very imaginative, expressive and playful, far more so than Charles and Mabel. But, this only lasts a few episodes and they don't display Oliver's theatrical side any more. I didn't completely understand the purpose of the scene where Oliver falls off the stairs and bounces back up again, I thought it was his imagination coming to life because of how theatrical he is, it was very funny but then they use the same effect again with Charles dropping a tea cup and it bounces up again, and I think it happens to Mabel too. It just started to feel kinda tedious.
