Franchise is still trash and online franchise has yet to return. From what friends have said they are forcing more microtransactions and milking DD for every penny. I haven't purchased a title since 19 and it is going to stay that way until they actually care about the mode that made the title.... Franchise mode. Maybe next year, but probably not. All sports game titles care about is "encouraging" Ultimate Team microtransactions.

I don't understand the high praise for this title. This is the most arcade title to date. The most recent update just nerfed all race payouts to make it an insane grind and force microtransactions. I don't mind a reasonable grind, but If I wanted to pay real money for cars in a video game I'd go back to iracing. Online racing is extremely laggy and if you host a room you are extremely limited to how you run it. You can not restrict make, model, years, region, drivetype ect. Therefore making classic cars irrelevant and forced to race EVs regardless of how you try to restrict the room. Overall this is the worst GT to date and I am disappointed in how they're forcing microtransactions.
