I So wanted to give This five stars until I watched it. Folks, I am a big Damien Leone fan. This was his highest budget, and Terrifier, his best film series thus far. I feel he dropped the ball here. I don’t want to Give out any spoilers. So (vaguely spoken) art was art David Howard Thorton‘s role is the saving grace of the film “the humor in it.”
That said,, my main disappointment was that there are no wide-angle gore shots, like the bisected woman in the first film or the bedroom scene in the second film. And with the budget he had he should have like four of those scenes, and there were none. I repeat none! No wide angle gore shots! Wide angle shows the victim, the perpetrator, and the act all in the same shot. He used Cutaway shots way too much!! Not to mention,, depriving us of a kill we all should have gotten to see.
