I truly do not understand the hype behind this movie. It's basically a Ouija movie with a spooky hand instead of a spirit board. The ending wasn't "shocking" or "profound." It was entirely predictable to me. The pace was absolute drudgery. No, it didn't feel like a "build up" to something. It felt like filler nonsense. I have to wonder if people are watching the same movie I watched. I'm not sure how such mundane inanity can be considered "innovative" and "a fresh take." It's basically "cursed object does spooky things and bad things happen." Next.
